Not into mush at all. But I loved this song when it played on MTV some years back - I mean, the cover version by UB40. Elvis was obviously great on this. Apt for Fool's day too.

I have heard this song on & off. Always felt it was one of the better rock songs. But there was that one time - think it was the opening of the Superbowl in the US when Aerosmith opened it with a live rendition of this song - had me completely zapped. This song just blew me away at that time. Doing a little research at that time, I found out that this song "made it into the rock ‘n roll Hall of Fame as one of the 500 songs that shaped rock ‘n roll. Rolling Stone listed as number 172 in its 500 greatest songs of all time.... It’s not only a piece of rock ‘n roll history, Aerosmith Dream On is a piece of American (rock) history." I rest my case!!
